3. Village Streetwear – Merrick

Village Streetwear owner Lesa Shapiro designs and custom makes the jewelry found in the store. Technicians have experience with kids of all ages. If you have a teen who is dying for more than just their lobes pierced, Village Streetwear specializes in many different kinds of piercings, including industrial, rook, nose piercing, and others. Walk-ins are welcome, but the shop is closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Where to Get Ear Piercings for Kids in Suffolk County

A note on ear piercing in Suffolk County: In Suffolk County, for a minor to get a piercing, you must have a signed, dated, and notarized Minor Piercing Consent Form. You will also need a form of ID for your child, whether a school ID, birth certificate, passport, etc. If the parents' last name does not match the child's, you must bring the birth certificate proving you are the parent. The piercing or tattoo studio will provide you with the form.

9. Your Pediatrician

Many pediatricians offer ear piercings in their offices. Speak with them if you're interested in getting your babies' ears pierced. My doctor offers it at 6 months, but check in to see what age your pediatrician recommends. 

10. Claire's 

Claire's is a favorite among lots of little girls for all the cute accessories, but you can also get your ears pierced there. Piercing specialists have completed training on ear piercing and must take refresher courses each year.

Similar to Claire's, Banter is a place many of us first found inside a mall as a kid or teenager. You get to choose the ear piercing method, either a sterilized needle or a piercing device.
