12/3/25 - By Jennifer Coe

Looking for the best things to do in Connecticut this weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities to add to your list!

Children across Connecticut are buzzing with excitement to catch a glimpse of Santa on his festive travels. And he is certainly earning his red suit this weekend - because they can Skate with Santa at South Windsor Arena, have Breakfast with Santa at Stew Leonard's in Norwalk, and even catch his appearance at the Parkville Market in Hartford. And that is not it AT ALL. Check our packed calendar for all the places he will be.

A very special event this weekend will be the ArtReach Mobile Art Studio Connecticut Tour . They will be traveling to Hamden, Newington, Bristol and Waterbury to give kids an opportunity to create in their cool little studio on wheels. Get your seat now! Also, bring the family to Greenwich Historical Society's Holiday Festival for crafts, gingerbread decorating and family fun.
