Where is Newnan, GA?

Located about 30 minutes south of Atlanta, Newnan welcomes visitors to Coweta County with pastoral greenspaces, historic architecture, an idyllic downtown, and charming vibes.

1. Children’s Connect Museum 

The Children’s Connect Museum in downtown Newnan creates fun, engaging experiences for children and families through play. 2. City of Newnan Trolley

The City of Newnan Trolley is a unique, free experience for Newnan residents and visitors. Climb aboard the bright red trolley at Newnan City Hall and enjoy a relaxing trip to Ashley Park, Coweta’s premier outdoor mall where you’ll find unique shops, restaurants, and the Georgian Movie Theater. Trolleys run from downtown to Ashley Park and back Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, 1pm to 8pm. 

3. Full Circle Toys

Full Circle Toys is a Newnan treasure -- this huge toy store is located in the Ashley Park outdoor mall and is a treat for kids and adults alike. This unique shop features vintage toys, collectibles, comics, video games, records and more. 

4. Putter’s Pointe

Not just another mini golf course, Putter’s Pointe is a brand new miniature golf destination located between Newnan and Peachtree City, GA. The course offers 18 beautiful and whimsically designed holes, including nine ADA holes. Putter’s Pointe putt-putt golf is appropriate for participants of all ages. Families can also enjoy lawn games and snacks while visiting.

5. Junction Lanes

Indoor fun doesn’t get much better than Junction Lanes, featuring 40 lanes of bowling, a huge arcade with games for all ages, and 3D glow-in-the-dark mini-golf. All that fun works up an appetite, so bring hungry kids to the Junction Lanes Depot Grill to grab pizza, burgers, wings, snacks, and more.

6. C.J. Smith Park 

Enjoy the great outdoors at this 12-acre park in the heart of Newnan, with a playground, splashpad, and skatepark. Kids are obsessed with the huge, orange "hill slide" which safely whizzes kids down C.J. Smith Hill to a padded landing below. 

7. Newnan LINC Outdoor Trails

Looking for the perfect biking/hiking/walking trails? The LINC has you covered. A massive network of carefully planned trails, the LINC interconnects all of Newnan with beautiful and safely marked trails that meander through green spaces and shopping and dining areas. 

8. Urban Air Adventure Park 

Urban Air Adventure Park allows kids to burn off a bunch of energy, while parents can sit back and let the kids go crazy on their own. Urban Air provides a safe, secure jump experience complete with trampoline courts, foam pits, balance beams, climbing walls, and more. 

9. Starlite Family Fun Center

An authentic skating experience located between Newnan and Peachtree City, Starlite Fun Center has a full-size skating rink, skate rental, music, and lights, providing old school vibes. This location also features laser tag, a soft playground, and snack bar.

10. Bear Creek Nature Center 

Get off devices and spend time in nature at Bear Creek Nature Center. Located only 20 minutes from Hartsfield-Atlanta Airport, you’ll feel transported into the wild. Nestled in a rural hardwood forest in Chattahoochee Hills, Bear Creek Nature Center hosts learning experiences for families and groups who want to learn about bats, snakes, birds of prey, and more. 

11. Atlanta Brick Co.

Do you have a LEGO fanatic in your crew? Don’t miss Atlanta Brick Co, located just outside of Newnan in Sharpsburg, GA. Atlanta Brick Co. (a location of United Brick Co.) boasts itself as the world’s largest building brick store. Here you’ll find collectibles, t-shirts, merch, and, of course, a huge selection of LEGOs, sets, and other building bricks.
