Looking for the best things to do in Connecticut this Veterans Day Weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities to add to your list for this weekend.

This weekend your family can say "thank you" to veterans by attending one of the many parades, ceremonies and other events that honor those who have served our country. The Stamford Veterans Day Parade & Ceremony will offer a traditional celebration, as will the City of New Haven Veterans Day Ceremony. For something quieter and maybe more poignant, Wild Rides Sanctuary is offering the Heroes & Hooves: Veteran Event at the Sanctuary in Sterling. 

This weekend features Pokemon Weekend at CT Science Center, where kids can do a Pokemon scavenger hunt, trade cards, dress up, and watch a movie too.
