The Éenda-Lŭnaapeewáhkiing (Land of the Lunaapeew) Collective and the Museum present a day of activities celebrating the resilience and cultural heritage of the First People of the New York City region. Programming includes musical and dance performances, craft workshops, and discussions led by Indigenous speakers and artists.  

Activities include:

  • Corn Husk Doll Making with Denise Bright Dove Ashton-Dunkley (Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Tribal Nation)
  • Painting Workshop with Courtney Streett & Native Roots Farm Foundation
  • Munsee Language Workshop with Kristin Jacobs (Eelünaapéewi Lahkéewiit)
  • Flute Performance by Stephen Leonardo
  • Performances by Red Blanket Singers and Dancers
