If your family is looking for some extreme fun, paintball with kids in Connecticut might just be the ticket. Those of us who are drawn to laser tag or go-karts and axe-throwing don't shy away from a family paintball battle! Many venues offer lower-velocity air-powered painballs that are lighter than traditional paintballs, perfect for families looking for a less-intense experience. Some offer "airsoft" play, which feature light plastic pellets rather than paintballs. Others have "gel-blasters" (or gellyball) for a youngster version of paintball.

Most of these Connecticut area paintball courses offer party packages. Paintball for kids can be a great idea for fun birthday party places in Connecticut for tweens and teens. For more great b-day ideas, check out our Connecticut Kids Birthday Party Guide.
