The Maryland Zoo's Zoo Boo! features lots of trick-or-treat stations throughout. Kids can wear costumes, collect candy, and visit the animals. There are also games, prizes, contests, and live entertainment.
The event is free with zoo membership or admission.
This year’s festivities will span several weekends throughout the month of October and will include:
- Hay Maze
- Hay Rides (Saturday & Sunday only)
- Scarecrow Making – Bring Your Own “Scare-clothes” (see below)
- Pumpkin Patch (Pumpkins for purchase)
- Moon Bounce (Saturday & Sunday only)
- Crafts
- Costume Contests (Saturday & Sunday only)
- Trick or Treating throughout the Zoo
- Animal Ambassadors
- Face Painting ($$)
- Fall-themed games (Saturday & Sunday only)
- Special performances (Saturday & Sunday only)
- Access to food trucks and vendors (Saturday & Sunday only)
- Visits from Zoo Mascots
