It's all about seasonal openings this weekend in DFW! Head to the Dallas Zoo for the return of its popular holiday lights show, brave the cold to see your favorite elf, Buddy, sculpted out of ice at the Gaylord Texan's iconic Ice!, or enjoy the 12 Days of Christmas at the Dallas Arboretum. If you're feeling like spending time in downtown Dallas, check out the Kindness Festival, the Sunniefest in Pegasus Park, or the Dallas Opera's The Little Prince, a great way to introduce opera to your little ones.

NorthPark Center is also hot this weekend, with everyone's favorite train exhibit opening and a free play day in NorthCourt!

The holiday season is officially ON, which means there are a ton of light shows and holiday exhibits opening, including the Tianyu Lights Festival and the Electrify the Night Drive-Thru Holiday Show.

If you want to honor those who have served in the military, head to the Plano Flags of Honor event on Saturday, which includes a Touch-a-Truck, a fire truck pull, a live taps performance, and more.
