Oakland Zoo is up in lights for Glowfari, featuring hundreds of beautiful glowing animal lanterns scattered throughout. Families can walk around the animals of the forest with iconic wildlife, frosty friends of the Arctic, the deep ocean, and the Bayou swamp. 

New themes include a float down the Nile to view wading wildlife and ancient Egyptian structures, a trip to the farm to visit barnyard favorites, a hike up the highest peaks to visit animals like ibex and alpaca, and a return to the past to see dinosaurs take over the California trail.
