Dinosaur Activities in Orlando for Future Paleontologists
Dinosaur World - Plant City
Hit up this Jurassic-themed roadside attraction along the I-4 corridor, about 20 minutes from Tampa. Alongside life-size dinosaur replicas, Dinosaur World features a museum, themed playgrounds, interactive exhibits, and much more.

Dino Digs at Orlando Science Center - Orlando
The Orlando Science Center is a wonderful museum for kids of all ages and interests. But children will love the dinosaur exhibit, Dino Digs, for its giant fossil replicas of dinosaur species and the chance to dig for fun fossils in the two dig pits.
Jurassic Park at Universal's Islands of Adventure - Orlando
If your kids love dinosaur activities, take them to Jurassic Park at Universal's Islands of Adventure. Families can ride the Jurassic World VelociCoaster, glide along the Jurassic Park River Adventure, explore the Discovery Center, and more!
Jurassic Quest - Select Florida Cities
It must be your child's lucky day as the country's "largest and most realistic traveling dinosaur experience in North America" is in Tampa, Florida this weekend (July 18-20, 2025). The dino fun continues in Miami and West Palm Beach at the end of August 2025.

Fossil Hunting
If your kids really want the full paleontologist experience, take them to hunt fossils in and around Central Florida. You may discover a prehistoric shark tooth or another ancient find! Fossil tours happen throughout the region, including canoe trips along Peace River, hunts throughout Bone Valley, and other regions around Orlando.
