Rise Up! An Interactive Kwanzaa Concert with Asase Yaa

Rise Up! brings Kwanzaa to life through music, dance, rhythm, and storytelling in a high-energy, interactive concert designed for children and families. The program immerses audiences in the cultural traditions of Kwanzaa while celebrating the power of unity, creativity, and joy.

Painting With Corn

During Kwanzaa, corn is displayed as a symbol of children and community. Use corn on the cob as a paint brush. Roll it across your paper to spread around the paint while you learn about the colors of Kwanzaa.
