1. Schoolhouse Play & Cafe – Farmingdale

Themed classes and open play in a unique setting at Schoolhouse Play & Cafe provide lots of opportunities for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers to explore and learn. Kids will enjoy open play in a campsite and camper space or pretend play at the grocery store, diner, or doctor's office. Plus, this space offers birthday party packages on weekends. Don't sleep on Elise's Niece's Cafe, which shares a location with Schoolhouse and serves up scratch-made desserts and pastries, including Pop-Tarts, rainbow cookies, Dubai chocolate cake, and more.

2. Activate – Garden City

Activate transports visitors into life-size video games reminiscent of mini-games you'd find on some of your favorite consoles. The Grid option features a floor full of light-up tiles. Different game modes send you leaping from tile to tile to avoid certain colors. In Hide, players must dodge the gaze of two giant glowing eyes. Strike, Hoops, Climb, and Mega Grid round out the other interactive game rooms. Each room has multiple modes and difficulty levels. Plus, you can enjoy unlimited access to all games with the all-you-can-play pass. You can find this high-tech spot near Nordstrom at the Roosevelt Field Mall.
