Here's something to be thankful for: These restaurants open on Thanksgiving in New Jersey allow you to take the holiday off from meal prep. We've even found a few NJ kid-friendly restaurants offering delicious takeout meals you can just heat and eat at home on Thanksgiving Day. 

Here are 19 restaurants open on Thanksgiving 2025 in NJ, so you can enjoy a holiday feast without the fuss. Restaurants Open on Thanksgiving 2025 in North Jersey

1. Bell's Mansion – Stanhope

Bell's Mansion offers a sit-down dinner that features a serving of turkey, cranberry chutney, Brussels sprouts, sausage stuffing, and mashed potatoes. Groups can choose to enjoy a family-style four-course menu for $79 per person (50 percent off for kids 10 and under), as well as an a la carte menu and takeout. Call 973-426-9977 for reservations or place your pick-up order by Wednesday, November 26, 2025.

2. Blue Morel – Morristown

This Thanksgiving buffet features carving stations with beef and turkey, plus all the fixings. Seafood lovers, feast on the raw bar, oysters and shrimp, and shrimp and grits. The buffet is priced at $90 for adults and $30 for kids.

3. Calandra's Il Vecchio Cafe & La Taverna Lounge – Caldwell

Thanksgiving lovers will not go hungry at Calandra's. Enjoy the Deluxe Expanded Dinner Buffet ($75 for adults and $30 for a children's plated meal), with 2-hour seating windows starting at noon. Call 973-226-8889, ext. 1 to reserve a table. Or choose from the catering menu, which features packages for parties of 6-8 people or 10-12 people.

4. Anthony David's – Hoboken

This Hoboken favorite offers a fancy Thanksgiving feast in the comfort of your own home. From appetizers to desserts, the extensive menu offers something for everyone. Not feeding a crowd? You can also get individual meals for $39 each. Order online by Monday, November 24.

5. Faubourg – Montclair

This bi-level brasserie offers a Thanksgiving à la carte menu with festive specials. If you prefer to order catering, Faubourg has a delicious takeout Thanksgiving menu of traditional favorites. Family-style packages start at $255 for 3-4 people, with additional sides and pies available for purchase. Order online in advance.

6. Black River Barn – Randolph

For a casual family-friendly Thanksgiving dinner, try the Black River Barn's family-style dinner. Enjoy appetizers, soup, turkey, and sides for $45 per adult and $17-24 for kids. Dine in or order in advance from the takeout menu. A deposit is required for reservations. Call 201-767-0063 to order. 

7. Sanzari's New Bridge Inn – New Milford

This quaint Italian restaurant pulls out all the stops for its buffet Thanksgiving meal. Start with corn chowder and then hit the pasta and carving stations. There are also stations with options like meatballs, grilled salmon, turkey and gravy, coconut shrimp, Beef Stroganoff, and more for $68 per person. There's also a kids' menu for $34. A separate Thanksgiving prix fixe meal menu has tons of delectable options and runs $58 per adult; $30 for kids. Call 201-692-7700 for reservations.

8. Restaurant Serenade – Chatham

This cozy restaurant from award-winning Chef James Laird offers a three-course, prix fixe menu that's a mix of traditional and modern bites. Whether you opt for the turkey two ways, or nosh on halibut with a butternut squash risotto, your toughest choice may come when you get to the dessert menu: It includes cobbler, pumpkin pie, and chocolate mousse. Prices are $95 for adults and $50 for kids. Book your reservations in advance.

9. Feast Catering & Cafe – Westfield

Feast has been catering Thanksgiving dinners at home for more than 20 years. The popular turkey dinner for four comes with everything you need to host at home. Additional appetizers and side dishes are also available. Order by Friday, November 14, 2025, by calling 908-654-0045.

10. Fernando's Grill – Hightstown

The dine-in buffet is available with turkey and all the fixings. It's $45 for adults and $18 for children. Advanced reservations are suggested. Call 609-443-4488.

11. Red Horse – Bernardsville

Dine on Thanksgiving favorites at this David Burke restaurant located at The Bernard's Inn. The menu is a three-course prix fixe meal at $95 per person, with entree options such as turkey, filet mignon, and seared scallops. Children 10 and under are half price.

12. Olde Mill Inn and Grain House Restaurant – Basking Ridge

This restaurant offers a Thanksgiving Day buffet ($84 for adults; $30 for kids ages 4-11). Enjoy traditional turkey and fixings, plus Tuscan-inspired sides, prime rib, a kid-centric station with chicken tenders, meatballs, and crusted mac and cheese.

13. Rat's Restaurant – Hamilton

The charming restaurant at the Grounds for Sculpture, named for a character in The Wind and the Willows, serves a traditional prix fixe Thanksgiving feast prepared with ingredients from regional growers and farms for $70 per person. A kids' menu is available for ages 12 and under. While 2025 reservations are sold out, you can call to inquire about cancellations: 609-584-7800.

14. Stage House – Mountainside

This local fave serves an all-you-can-eat traditional roast turkey dinner for the big day for $57 for adults; $20 for kids under 12. Expect some fun extras like a taco bar. There's also a large to-go menu with packages of Thanksgiving faves for groups of 4-18. Order or make reservations by calling 732-371-1599

15. Stonehouse – Warren

This chic farm-to-table restaurant offers a prix fixe, three-course meal on Thanksgiving. Each guest can choose an appetizer and then an entree, including herb-roasted turkey, lasagna, roasted salmon, and mouthwatering short ribs. Family-style sides and a choice of dessert are included with every seating. Price starts at $79 for adults; $30 for kids. The same menu will be offered at the Ryland Inn in Whitehouse Station.

16. Bahrs Landing – Highlands

This Jersey Shore restaurant isn't just seafood. It serves a traditional turkey dinner with all the favorites, including stuffing, cranberry sauce, and smashed potatoes. You can also order off the regular full menu, including lobster! Reservations are taken from 11:30am-4:30pm only. The Thanksgiving plate is $39 for adults. For reservations, call 732-872-1245.

17. Bobby Chez – Cherry Hill

A complete Thanksgiving meal for 10 to-go–including a 22-pound turkey with all the fixings and a pumpkin pie can be ordered from this Cherry Hill restaurant. Order by Tuesday, November 18, 2025, and pick it up the day before Thanksgiving. Heating instructions are included.

18. Corinne's Place – Camden

To experience legendary soul food, visit this Black-owned restaurant on Thanksgiving. The Thanksgiving menu includes a platter for 10 and a platter for 15, both of which include turkey and lots of fixings.

19. Haddon Culinary – Haddonfield

Full Thanksgiving packages (starting at $300) and a la carte options ($135) serve 6-8 people at Haddonfield. If turkey isn't your thing, opt for a holiday ham instead. You can also choose your stuffing and pie, and all meals come with mashed potatoes, butternut squash risotto, and green beans. Meals are available for pick-up only. Order online by Friday, November 22, 2025, to pick up Wednesday, November 26, 2025, or Thanksgiving morning.

20. The Reeds – Stone Harbor

Enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving buffet with all your holiday favorites like turkey (plus ham, pastrami, kielbasa, and pork), stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, buttered green beans, brussels sprouts, and more. Dinner costs $75 for adults and $35 for kids ages 4-12.

21. Riverwinds Restaurant – West Deptford

You don't have to be a turkey lover to enjoy dinner at Riverwinds this year. In addition to the classic turkey dinner, you can also select salmon, ham, or filet mignon. Kids can sub pasta or chicken fingers for their main. If you opt for turkey, parties of 4+ will have a bird carved tableside, which adds a nice touch to the meal. All sides are served family-style and include salads and desserts. Prices vary depending on your entree, but start at $50 for adults; $23  for kids. The same menu can be ordered to take out as well.
