Kadampa Meditation Center Long Island in Huntington offers classes for children ages 6 to 12 each Sunday.

Meditation classes give children the means to deal with the stresses of life and develop a peaceful state of mind. Some examples of class topics include dealing with conflict and frustration, learning to appreciate others, and learning how to develop happy, peaceful minds. Children’s classes are presented in a lively, creative and interactive way.
