This Memorial Day commemoration and extravaganza at North Hempstead Beach Park features a fireworks display by Santore Fireworks and live musical entertainment. 

Gates open at 3pm. 

This parking fee applies only when the main lot at North Hempstead Beach Park is still open. Free parking for veterans and active-duty military. When the lot is full, overflow parking is available for free with shuttle bus transportation from:

  • Clinton G. Martin Park 1601 Marcus Ave., New Hyde Park
  • Office of the Town Clerk 200 Plandome Road, Manhasset
  • North Hempstead Yes We Can Community Center 141 Garden St., Westbury
  • Michael J. Tully Park 1801 Evergreen Ave., New Hyde Park
