While school’s out, educators from the Story Round welcome young readers and writers to explore magical realism—stories where fantastic elements blend seamlessly into our ordinary world.
Journey into Magical Realism: Where the Everyday Meets the Extraordinary: Through interactive reading, creative writing exercises, and imaginative play, students will spot the “magic” hidden in realistic settings, create their own magical realist tales, and develop critical thinking skills by exploring how these stories reflect real-world themes.
This program is suitable for children 3rd – 7th grade.
