Marina del Rey July 4th Fireworks
Marina del Rey's annual fireworks are one of the best free displays in the city. The show commences at 9pm and lasts about 20 minutes.
This display is launched from a barge off of the marina's South Jetty. The 10-minute fireworks show can be seen from all over the Marina, the loudspeakers with the corresponding soundtrack are set up at Burton Chace Park and Fisherman's Village.
Parking is limited and local street closures are planned to start as early as 1pm in some areas. It is recommended guests arrive no later than 1 pm and stay for the day. Public county parking lots charge $20 for holiday parking.
If you are looking for a unique way to view the show, consider making a reservation at one of Marina del Rey's waterfront restaurants or booking a boat cruise to watch from the water.
Don't forget to bring along a jacket or sweater to stay comfortable near the water.
