Blast Off to Outer Space Museum Takeover at Wonder Works

Calling all astronauts and deep space explorers! From January 15 to 26, Wonder Works Children’s Museum is blasting off to outer space! Children can dress up as astronauts, crawl into rocket tents and pretend they’ve landed Mars. In the lunar exploration pit, children can navigate space themed objects as they develop their gross motor skills.
On Saturday, January 17 and Saturday, January 24, from 10am to 12pm, Kids Science Labs will the museum's exploration of outer space with some interactive science experiments including galaxy slime, light spectrum exploration, and dry ice experiments. On both Saturdays, children will have the chance to build a space vision goggle to take home. Blast Off Into Outer Space science activities are possible thanks to a grant from the Oak Park Township and River Forest Township Youth Services committees.
