World Oceans Day celebrates ocean life with educational and fun activities for the whole family. There are interactive booths where kids can learn about the local ecosystem, wildlife, and preservation.

10 a.m.-6 p.m.: Visit the Kayak Paddling Pool and learn to paddle with Southwest Paddlesports

10 a.m.-4 p.m.: There’s a fabulous ocean themed mural being painted on the seond level of the Stewart Beach Park Pavillion. You can also view the Marine Debris Art Contest entries and Vote for your favorite for the Peoples’ Choice Award.

10 a.m.-6 p.m.: Stop by the beach shoreline to watch a Sandcastle Building demonstration
