June is Connecticut means kids are out of school and Connecticut families are looking for wholesome and educational things to do. Father's Day and CT Open House Day Statewide are the same weekend, so enjoy free entry to all your favorite spots; bring dad to Hungerford Nature Center, New Britain Museum of American Art, The Aldrich, Stepping Stones Museum and many more fun places!

Strawberries are ripening everywhere in June, and you can try strawberry desserts, drinks and all the flavors of the season at the New London County Strawberry Festival & Craft Show and the Cheshire Strawberry Festival.
