Just Leaf it Be!

Come Dig in the Dirt with us! On this family program, we are going to go on a walk outside the center and see what kinds of critters we can find on our property.
We will start with a brief presentation where you can learn all about leaf litter and how it supports our local ecosystems, while also learning how you can help your garden and local ecosystem in the fall and set it up well for the spring! Then we will go on a hike and explore the microhabitat worlds under our leaves and logs along our Oasis trail, collecting any cool insects or other critters we find. Lastly, we will take a look at any of what we have collected under our screen-connected microscope to get up close and personal with the animals that call our leaf litter piles home.
