9. Henrietta's Table—Cambridge

This Thanksgiving, Pastry Chef Daniel Angelopolus is crafting a delicious assortment of pies and breads to make holiday celebrations even more special. Orders are available from November 12 through November 22. Families can either download and fill out an order form to drop off at Henrietta’s Table or visit the restaurant in person to place their order.

10. Verrill Farm — Concord

All of Verrill Farm’s dishes are made from scratch, including harvest kale walnut salad, roasted Brussels sprouts and butternut squash, and Kentucky bourbon pecan pie. We love it because families can also pick up a seasonal floral arrangement for a beautiful tablescape alongside their meal. Place your order online by November 18 for pickup on November 25 or 26.

11. Summer Shack—Boston & Cambridge

From hearty sides to fried favorites, this spot is approachable for young palates. Going on their 20th year, offerings include a pick-and-choose menu that includes: a 16lb Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, cornbread stuffing, butternut squash, and cranberry sauce, or a Full Turkey Dinner! Homemade pie options are: apple, pecan, pumpkin, or a lobster pot pie. Takeout orders are open online. 

12. Smoke Shop—Boston, Somerville & Cambridge

Smoked turkey, Southern sides, and kid-sized boxes make this a unique holiday option, and we love it because it brings bold flavors in a way kids can enjoy. They offer two takeout options. "All Boxed Up" orders must be placed by 11/21 and picked up 11/25 or 11/26, and "A La Carte" with orders due by 11/21 and picked up for 11/26.

13. Cracker Barrel—Various Locations

Yep, you can get down-home, tasty country grub for Thanksgiving. Cracker Barrel's Heat n Serve Feast in groups of 4-6 or 8-10, complete with turkey, cranberry sauce, gravy, rolls, sweet potato casserole and more. Extra sides and whole pies are available too. Plus, Cracker Barrel rewards members get an adorable set of free mini salt and pepper shakers when placing orders by 11/9.
