Newton 4th of July Celebration
Spend the day celebrating Independence Day featuring live music, a kids parade, and free ice cream courtesy of Cabot's farm. There will be carnival attractions starting at 10 am; fireworks start at 9:15.
Kids Morning:
Children and families are invited to join in the Patriotic Costume Promenade, pet parade, decorated bicycle ride, an arts/crafts table, and more. FREE ice cream courtesy of Cabot’s Ice Cream.
Kids Morning is canceled in the event of rain.
Afternoon/Evening:
The fun continues with a carnival featuring kiddie amusement rides, local business vendor booths, handmade craft fair, live musical entertainment at the gazebo, and food trucks.
Newton’s own Kat Chapman takes the stage at 6pm. At 7:15pm things really kick up with the Beantown Buckaroos. Bring lawn chairs or a blanket, grab food from one of the food trucks, and enjoy the open space under the stars. At 9:10 pm, the grand finale…a fantastic fireworks display!
No rain date.
