Black History Celebration: Celebrating Africa

New Rochelle High School
Celebrate Africa through a day of assorted activities. In the afternoon, enjoy a drumming workshop, face painting, crafts, planetarium shows, and more. In the evening, enjoy performances of dance, drumming, choruses, singers, and more.
The schedule is as follows:
- Afternoon activities: 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm (free)
- Evening performances: 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm (admission charged)
Student work will be showcased.
The event is organized by the District's Black History Month Committee and the Westchester Alliance of Black School Educators with support from The New Rochelle Council on the Arts and the New Rochelle Fund for Educational Excellence.
