Hulda's Night at Rockefeller State Park
- see all dates
“Hulda’s Night” is a very special immersive theater experience that the Rockefeller State Park Preserve hosts once a year during the last two weeks of October. Audiences are led along Rockefeller’s famous carriage roads which are specially lit this night only by lanterns reminiscent of the age of Hulda – the time of the American Revolution. They may feel that they are walking back in time, as indeed they are.
The evening includes four Acts in separate locations; designed to tell the story of “Hulda the Witch,” “Pastor Ritzema of the Old Dutch Church,” “The Storyteller,” and “The Journey Home.”
There are 2 shows each night: 6pm and 7pm.
PLEASE BE ADVISED! This is a moderately strenuous 2 mile hike with some hills that will run between 2 – 2.5 hours. There will be periods of standing for up to 20 minutes at a time. While lit, the trails can be dark. Please bring a flashlight.
