Searching for that true sleepaway experience, but in a day camp setting? How about a totally state-of-the-art camp facility complete with a splash park? Or maybe you've been thinking summer would be the perfect time for your kiddo to work on her backhand or learn to rock climb?

Turns out the Lower Hudson Valley's got it all, folks! And to make your decision a little easier, we've rounded up a number of camps for kids ages 3 to 17 that offer all of the above and then some. With programs ranging from one week to the entire summer, along with pre- and post-camp care and transportation options, there's something for every kid (and every busy parent).

Campers aged 3 to 15 enjoy a diverse camp agenda, including swimming, sports, fine and performing arts, outdoor adventure, nature, STEM, lake activities, and special events. Gate Hill offers assorted options for ages 3 to 15 on a 33-acre setting. While older kids enjoy a lake, sports, and field trips, preschoolers in the Villagers program have a shallow pool, junior-sized sports facilities, early childhood arts, and special events like a teddy bear picnic. A concentrated arts and sciences program is offered for grades 3-9. A four-pool complex includes a splash park and water slides. Transportation and extended day available. READ MORE

The New Rochelle Racquet Club provides kids with a fun and engaging environment where they can excel at tennis, whether they have been playing for many years or are new to the game. Camps are offered for ages 5-12, and kids are carefully grouped according to age and skill level.
