Kids Craft: Make Scented Glitter Pinecones
The holidays are over and now we're just stuck with the cold, grey skies. We no longer have our tree or menorah to bring some cheer to the home, so it's time to add a little wintry sparkle of our own. We actually made these before the holidays but keep them around all winter. The glittered pinecones are a little bit rustic and a little bit glam, and add a touch of kid-crafted panache to your home. Adding your favorite scent can infuse your home with so much coziness that you won't mind if you're stuck inside all day.

Materials:
- Glitter
- Glue
- Pinecones
- Scented Oil
- Container with a lid
Ingredients:
1. If you want to add scent simply brush some scented oil onto the pinecone or shake it in a baggie with a few scented oil drops in it.
2. With a paint brush, apply the glue to the pinecone. Cover the whole thing, or just the edges depending on where you want to add your sparkles.
3. Place your glued pinecone in a plastic container just big enough to fit. Sprinkle some glitter into the container, and put the lid on and shake, shake, shake! until the pinecone is covered. Then remove and dry.
These look great in a bowl or on a mantle or shelf just sitting out. You can also string them on a ribbon and hang them.
