- see all dates
Repeating every month on February, March, April, May, June on the fourth Saturdays through April 10, 2020.
1:00pm to 3:00pm ET
Age: 4 and up
Price: Free with museum admission
Location:
National Law Enforcement Museum
On the fourth Saturday of every month the National Law Enforcement Museum offers a fun-filled afternoon of STEAM activities for “scientists” of all ages. Visitors experiment alongside educators, participating in hands-on activities focused on themes that explore the intersection of science and law enforcement.
February’s theme is Fibers and Textiles. Kids practice investigative skills with crime scene fiber pick-up, uncover the identities of textiles with a liquid test, and create fiber magnifiers. Science Saturday is free with admission, and admission to the museum for kids under 12 is always free.
