The Sloomoo Institute in Los Angeles recently opened for all the gooey, slimy fun. No matter how you feel about slime, your kids likely love it. Even the biggest anti-slimers might have to admit that they like slime, just a little bit, after checking out this new family-friendly attraction for kids in Los Angeles.
Sloomoo Institute is a welcome relief for parents who have watched their kitchens transform into slime laboratories. At the Sloomoo Institute, kids can squish, stretch, smash, shoot, stand under, stand on, and smell slime without making a mess at home.

Kidspace Museum in LA welcomes babies and early walkers to its newly renovated play space.
Pasadena’s beloved Kidspace Children’s Museum–my family’s absolute favorite in the Los Angeles area–understands the importance of socializing and play for babies, toddlers, and even their grown-ups. That’s why I jumped at the chance to check out the museum’s newly reopened and freshly renovated Early Childhood Learning Center (ECLC).
Filled with brain-building sensory and developmental experiences for babies and toddlers, the interactive indoor playground is now welcoming crawlers and early walkers to play, climb, explore, and connect alongside their parents and caregivers. My 20-month-old couldn’t get enough of the eye-catching rain mobile and the easily-scalable stream climber structure, and I loved that the area was so safe and engaging for little ones that I could actually get in some conversations with other adults.
Read on for everything you need to know about the beautifully reimagined space, and get your Kidspace tickets for a chance to explore the Early Childhood Learning Center.

Long Beach is packed with family-friendly fun, all at a consistent forecast of "sunny and 75" (well, most of the time!). Keep reading for more suggestions on maximizing a trip with kids in Long Beach. Take a look at some of the activities for kids in Long Beach in our Instagram Reel!

Tours... they seem so... touristy? I rarely ever book Los Angeles tours for my family, but as I was researching for this article it occurred to me—we live in a really cool spot and it deserves to be, well, toured. Don't wait for the in-laws to come into town (or do, these are a great way to show off LA), book one of these incredible tours and see all that the City of Stars has to offer.
The best part? All of these tours are kid-friendly!

Ahhh, Universal Studios Hollywood. Everyone knows that when you drive down the 101, you see LA’s beloved one-eyed Minion peeping at you from across the road. You notice Hogwarts, rising into the sky on a hill, and you may have asked yourself (probably countless times) “Should we take the kids there? Is it worth it?” As a local mom of four, I’m here to tell you, yes, Universal Studios Hollywood is absolutely worth a trip.
We took our boys and a buddy, ages 5, 7, and 8, for a birthday celebration and had the most memorable day. We want to make your day memorable too, so read on for a local’s tips and tricks to maximize your day at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Did you know that, besides answering all of your burning questions, AI is being used to flip burgers, cook Chinese food, serve AYCE Kogi beef, and more at restaurants all over LA? Robot restaurants are the hot new thing—and they're so much fun for kids! Who doesn't want a stack of pancakes or a tray of sushi delivered by a friendly little robot (many of them have kitty ears!)?
And, while this experience is one for the record books, remember that robots can struggle with technical difficulties, charging capacities, etc. If you want to experience robot service, please call the restaurant you plan to visit before hopping in the car. That way, you make sure that the robots are ready for action. Read on for a list of the best robot restaurants in LA.
