Have you started Babbling yet?

I guess all the sex on nerve.com has led to the obvious repercussion (you think of all people they would have known better), because Nerve just has spawned a parenting site, babble.com.
Founder of Mommy Poppins
A fourth-generation Brooklynite, Anna started Mommy Poppins in 2007 to help families find the best things to do with kids in NYC, with a particular emphasis on sharing activities that are free, affordable, and enriching. The site, used by millions of families, has grown to become the ultimate resource for parents in the major US cities, plus travel guides for 100s of destinations.
Anna is a believer in the magic of summer camps, traveling with kids, and that you can raise kids on a budget and still have a rich life full of amazing memories. Anna's first Mommy Poppins book, The Young Traveler's Journal and Activity Book, published in 2025 and co-written with her daughter, Amelia Eigerman, brings that ethos to life, in addition to this website.

MommyPoppins.com is the New York guide that treats living in NYC with kids as an incredible adventure; digging up all the incredible things NYC has to offer for babies, toddlers, children and families, uncovering activities, resources, services, schools, parks, places, and culture. Mommy Poppins covers everything parents need to know to get the most out of NYC with kids, with an emphasis on keeping it all affordable.

Living in New York is a great adventure. Living here with kids is like going to Great Adventure--it could be lots of fun or it could be endless hassles and getting puked on. We're going to be talking about the whole roller coaster of life in the city with kids. From the big questions like schools to the little questions like what to do this weekend. Think of Mommy Poppins as a spoonful of sugar to help the Paxil go down.
