The Academy of Natural Science welcomes the new exhibit, Mythic Creatures: Dragons, Unicorns & Mermaids, to the Museum. Guests learn about the history of favorite cryptid beasts and the real animals that influenced their stories as well as discover how real animals such as dinosaurs, mammoths and narwhals may have stirred tales of griffins, giants and unicorns.

Metered parking is available near the museum. Some metered parking is free on Sundays but read signs carefully to make sure. Nearby parking lots offer discounted rates but be mindful as some have special requirements to obtain the discount.

Hours are as follows:
Monday- Friday: 10 AM–4:30 PM
Weekends and Holidays: 10 AM- 5 PM
