1:00pm to 4:00pm ET
Age: 10-14
Price: Free
Did you know that Disney, Netflix, Google and NASA, just to name a few, are all using Python? In this free workshop held at Newtown Public Library, students learn how to program using Python, the computer language of choice from beginners to experts.
Students start with simple data types, including numbers, letters and strings, and lists. Students also explore comparisons, if-statements, and loops. Finally, students use what they learned to create their own game.
