Wassailing the Apple Trees at Terhune Orchards (Princeton) 

You know we love Terhune Orchards, so throw in a little wassailing and you’ve got an afternoon of good times. Chant, make music, bring your favorite noisemaker (and no, we don’t mean your toddler), drink hot cider, toast marshmallows over the bonfire and drive those evil spirits out of the apple trees! Yuletide Bonfire (Warren)

We love Warren Townships’s method of getting rid of old Christmas trees—burn them in a spectacular bonfire and have a party. Live entertainment, free snacks and hot chocolate, carriage rides; ice skating and snowman building, weather permitting. Saturday, Jan. 22 from 6pm to 9pm. FREE.

A Fairy Tale Princess Tea Party (Budd Lake)

We usually don’t highlight events way out in the northwestern portion of our fair state, but a children’s play where Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, Pocahontas, Jasmine and Rapunzel have tea together? The Love Bug’s Hug (West Windsor)
