Join Grow to Learn, the school gardens program of GrowNYC, and an expert from The Honeybee Conservancy on a native bee walk in The Battery, followed by a honeybee hive demonstration.

Participants identify different native/solitary bees and learn about their importance as pollinators, as well as what can be done to help them and their habitats! The honeybee hives located at The Battery are also opened so visitors can see the inner workings of a real honeybee hive.
