MLK National Day of Service
On Martin Luther King Jr. Day each year, Americans are encouraged to step up to make communities more equitable, and to take action to create the beloved community of Dr. King’s dream. Examples include cleaning up a public space, mentoring a young person, or helping those who are food insecure.
On Monday, January 19 and the days surrounding, Youth Service America and AmeriCorps invites you to:
- engage with your community and create constructive action;
- act on Dr. King’s legacy of social justice and equity; and
- recommit by volunteering to serve others.
** Activity dates/times are subject to change. Please click through to the activity website to verify.
