The Metropolitan Opera takes Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Magic Flute and adapts it into a family-friendly, English-language version that’s full of holiday spirit and enchantment.

Showtimes vary.

On Sunday, December 14, The Met Opera presents a special Holiday Open House prior to the matinee performance of The Magic Flute. The Open House Event allows children and families to enjoy hands-on musical explorations and experience behind-the-scenes demonstrations by members of the Met’s musicians, actors, dancers, and members of the Wig and Costume Shop, as well as face painting, making your own Flute-inspired ornament, up close with “Bird” Dancers from the show, and more.

The Open House is free to all ticket holders for the December 14 performance.
