A Juneteenth ceremony on the lawn of the Van Cortlandt House Museum includes musical and spoken word performances, followed by a procession with drums to the Enslaved African Burial Ground and a libation ceremony, honoring the memory of the enslaved people. 

Arrive early to eat dinner before the show. From 5pm, delicious food is available for sale from Voila Afrique. (First come-first served.)
