The Flatiron NoMad Partnership expands its annual Día de los Muertos celebration to a full month of interactive placemaking activations, a three-day community altar, and spotlighting Mexican-owned businesses in the neighborhood.

Friday, October 20-Sunday, November 2
Snap photos at the newly installed frame, Always Present / Siempre Presente, designed by local artist Blanka Amezkua on the Flatiron North Plaza.

Friday, October 31-Sunday, November 2
Visit the interactive community altar on the Flatiron North Plaza designed by Mano a Mano: Mexican Culture Without Borders.

Visitors are invited to offer memories and respects at the altar with:

  • Photos: Copies of your photos are encouraged, not originals.
  • Small Offerings: Small plants, flowers, cards, food, and candy are most welcome.
