Celebrate a vibrant and authentic Day of the Dead at Museum of the Moving Image with a performance of Aztec Mexica dance, ofrendas, fun digital media activities for kids and families, music from the Indigenous dance troupe Yayauhki Tezcatlipoka, and the Mexican Folkloric Ballet of New York.
Historical characters from Día de Muertos also inspire a face-painting session. And all are welcome to explore the public altar in the Museum’s courtyard, presented by the artist and historian Rosa Ruíz and Catrinamía.
