Fall Family Fun Festival Weekends at Terhune Orchards

- see all dates
Celebrate the season at Terhune Orchards with a day full of family farm fun. Each weekend offers more than 30 festive activities, including pony rides, pedal and play tractors, children’s games, corn stalk and hay bale mazes, barnyard animals, and barnyard sports like basketball toss, pumpkin bowling, and baseball throw.
A special highlight of the season is Apple Day Weekend, happening September 13 and 14. This year, Apple Day celebrates 50 years of festival seasons at the farm with traditional favorites and even more farm fun than ever before.
Throughout the season, families can enjoy Pick-Your-Own Apples and find the perfect pumpkin for carving or decorating. A pumpkin painting station is available for kids.
Guests can also explore the pollinator sunflower trail and take part in a farm-wide scavenger hunt.
Free wagon rides run from 10am–1pm. Live music by local bands plays daily from 12pm–4pm — full schedule available at:
Hungry visitors can stop by Pam’s Food Pavilion, serving homemade farm favorites like soup, chili, pulled pork sandwiches, pies, apple cider donuts, and more. At the Barn Door Café, enjoy cider slush and hand-scooped ice cream.
Adults can relax in the historic apple orchard with a glass or tasting flight of Terhune’s own wines, made from estate-grown grapes and fruit.
Advance tickets are discounted and required for both the festival and the winery. Children under 3 are free. Private tent and reserved space options are available.
*Free Parking. Apple Picking at 13 Van Kirk Road.
