Whether you are residents or visitors, your family will enjoy these lively parades and kid-approved festivals, including a leprechaun-themed fun run.

So grab your little shamrocks, put on your best green gear, and check out these fantastic St. Patrick’s Day events happening in Miami and South Florida in 2025.(St. Patrick's Day is officially Monday, March 17, but most South Florida celebrations are held on weekends leading up to the holiday.)

1. Luck of the Leprechaun at Fairchild—Coral Gables

2. Fort Lauderdale St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival—Downtown Fort Lauderdale

One of the biggest St. Patrick’s Day events in South Florida, this parade and festival is a can’t-miss for families. The parade features dazzling floats, marching bands, and Irish dancers, while the festival has live music, a dedicated kids zone, and plenty of delicious Irish treats to enjoy.

3. Emerald Society of South Florida St. Patrick's Day Festival—Miami

Grab your little leprechauns, dress them in green, and spend the day frolicking at the South Florida Emerald Society's St. Patrick's Day Festival from noon to 6pm at the German-American Social Club in Miami. Enjoy live traditional Irish and Celtic musical groups, traditional Irish fare, crafts, jewelry, jams, plants, honey, and other unique items. Activities include a giant slide and a rock climbing wall.

4. St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival Centennial Celebration—Hollywood

Sunday, March 9

Downtown Hollywood is transformed into a sea of green for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival. The traditional parade begins at 1pm with an array of floats, pipe and drums corps, marching bands, and businesses participating, along with the famous New York Police Department Emerald Society Pipe and Drum Corps.

5. Upper Keys Irish Festival—Key Largo

For a unique St. Paddy’s celebration, head down to the Keys. This festival has everything from live Irish music to traditional dance performances and plenty of kid-friendly entertainment. Enjoy the beautiful waterfront setting while celebrating Irish culture.

6. St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival—Delray Beach

10. St. Patrick’s Day Storytime & Crafts at Miami-Dade Public Libraries—Countywide

Libraries across Miami-Dade are hosting special St. Patrick’s Day-themed story times, where kids can listen to fun Irish tales, make leprechaun crafts, and even go on a scavenger hunt for hidden gold coins. Check your local branch for details.

Little ones can get their wiggles out at My Gym’s St. Patrick’s Day-themed play events. Expect fun games, obstacle courses, and plenty of lucky surprises.
