Durango Fest, a nationwide celebration of Duranguense music and culture, comes to Homestead’s Harris Field Park & Rodeo Arena. Starting at 2pm, the event offers live music, regional food, artisan vendors, and a family-friendly atmosphere.
Kids under 10 enter free; drinks available for guests 21 and over.
Featuring top acts like Montez de Durango and K-Paz de la Sierra, the festival showcases energetic performances of rancheras, cumbias, corridos, and ballads. Originating in Chicago in the late 1990s, Duranguense blends traditional Mexican sounds with modern instruments and danceable rhythms.
