The Moorpark Teaching Zoo celebrates the 11th birthday of its beloved African lion, Ira.

Ira is celebrating all day long, receiving treats, gifts and special surprises throughout the day at 11:30am, 1pm, 2pm, & 3:30pm.

Other programming throughout the day includes a training demonstration and a wildlife presentation, a large carnivore feeding, and animal meet-and-greets.

Plus, Rajah's Retreat, the new tiger habitat, is now open.
