Irvine Park Railroad Christmas Train
- see all dates
Irvine Regional Park's annual Christmas Train offers both daytime and nighttime rides through the historic park to meet Santa at his Village. Grab your tickets fast—this event sells out every year!
The train departs from the brightly-lit station house and drops passengers off at the North Pole, where children can share their wish list with Santa and have their photo taken with him, too. Guests may take pictures with their personal camera or may purchase a photo taken by Irvine Park Railroad.
Keep in mind that ticket prices vary, depending on what day of the week and what time you choose to book your ride. The least expensive time slot is from 10 - 3pm, when tickets are only $20 per rider. During peak times (5pm - 7pm), tickets are $35 each.
On the ride back to Santa’s Village, passengers can view the colorful Christmas lights and decorations, as well as the magical “Tunnel of Lights”. There are many activities to be enjoyed at Santa's Village, ranging from cookie decorating and moon bounces to Rudolph Racers and ice fishing. Fees for activities are one or two tickets: activity tickets cost $7 each.
Christmas Train tickets go on sale November 3, 2025, at 10am and can be purchased online only.
