Who are the women that inspire you? Poetry Slam 7 celebrates Women’s History Month.

Young poets ages 7 -14 can compose a tribute to the brave woman or women who have transformed their world for the better.

The participants read their original works at Children’s Book World, with award winning poets Hope Anita Smith. The 7th Poetry Slam celebrates the spoken word with an opportunity for community schools to send their wittiest and wisest wordsmiths to compete for the title of Poet Laureate and to shine a light on their school's rhyming rep.
