Trick-or-Treat in the Garden
Little ones can dress in their Halloween costumes and come trick-or-treat in the Arboretum garden to learn about the “spookier” side of nature!
While searching for trick-or-treat stations, children can discover fun facts about the plants at each destination and receive a nature-based treat when they reach them.
Kids can visit the friendly hissing cockroaches, earthworms, flesh eating beetles, carnivorous plants at tables along the way, and learn about how these amazing creatures are far more fabulous than frightening.
Each family receives a map of the trick or treat route with educational information about the stations, and each registered child receives a bag to collect their treats in.
Pre-registration is required; All adults & children must register. Ticketed entries to the trick-or-treat route are every half hour between 4pm and 7pm.
Ticketed guests can enjoy the gardens before and after their ticketed time slot. Event concludes at 8pm.
Guests are required to bring a flashlight.
