The Port of Hueneme Banana Festival

The Port of Hueneme Banana Festival returns for another year.
Guests can enjoy a variety of delicious foods, which may include banana empanadas, banana splits, banana funnel cakes, banana lumpia, banana cream pie melts, banana Italian ice, banana popcorn, banana cupcakes, and chocolate-covered bananas. Both parking and admission are free.
Each food vendor offers at least one unique banana dish.
The festival also features live bands, banana cream pie eating contests, a vintage car exhibition, free port tours, and kids’ crafts and activities.
Fun in the Kids Zone includes banana-themed art projects, hourly puppet show performances, reading activities with the Port Hueneme Library, Kid’s Drum Circle and the new Kid’s Cornhole play area with a contest at 3pm. Kids Zone. Many of the activities in the Kids Zone are free; there are also ticketed mazes, slides, and bungee bounces.
The Festival is located on the Port of Hueneme, with the entrance at the corner of Surfside Drive & Market Street. Free admission and parking at beach lot locations.
