Here there be dragons (of the sea-going variety!).

Marina del Rey hosts its fourth annual Dragon Boat Festival. 40 local and out-of-state dragon boat teams and clubs compete to be the fastest team on the water.

Participants vary in age from 12 to 80 years old. Many participants are multi-generational families paddling together.

Guests can watch dragon boats race all day, eat food truck fare, browse display booths, and enjoy live entertainment by the water.

Admission is free for viewers. Information on paid parking options is available on the event page.
