Los Angeles Ballet's production of The Nutcracker is a classic with a distinctly Southern California twist. In this production, set pieces are designed to mimic beloved landmarks and trademarks of Southern California, while the ballet stays true to Tchaikovsky's iconic score. 

This special engagement at the Dolby Theatre features a live orchestra. Evening performances are at 7:30 pm, with Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2pm. On Christmas Eve, The Nutcracker performs at 2pm.

The 2pm performance on December 26 is sensory friendly. Modifications include: adjusted sensory elements, relaxed house rules, adjusted house lights, pre-performance preparation, and available quiet space.
