The event takes place at venues along Grand Ave. between Temple and Sixth. Participating institutions include The Broad, Center Theatre Group, Colburn School, DATALAND at The Grand LA, Gloria Molina Grand Park, LA Opera, Los Angeles Public Library, Los Angeles Philharmonic, LA Master Chorale, Metro Art, MOCA, The Music Center and REDCAT.
The events are too numerous to list here, but a few highlights include:
- Spinning the prize wheel with the Center Theatre Group
- Instrument petting zoo and a community open sing at Colburn Music Academy
- A one day pop-up exhibit at DATALAND
- the opening day of the Día de los Muertos celebration at Gloria Molina Grand Park
